Feeling Accomplished

I took another walk with my daughter today, and for the first time in a long time I actually felt like maybe I was getting stronger.  We walked faster and further than we normally do, and I marched up one of our hills more easily than the day before.  It seems that maybe some of those small changes have been making a difference which provides much needed encouragement.

  1. Yes! I love this. One thing I've noticed about change or doing anything new is that, at first, it feels like it will suck big time to adjust to it, and then once you've done it a relatively short period of time you're surprised at how quickly you adjust. Grats!

    1. It does take a while to adjust, and it takes a bit of time to see improvement. I am remembering the last time I was this out of shape and needing to lose weight. I walked almost everyday for a month before I felt like it was making a difference, but after that I just kept walking further and faster and losing weight almost effortlessly. (Effortlessly if you call walking, walking, walking, effortless. Ha!)
